Community Partners

Power of Putnam (PoP) is a coalition of educators and other community leaders who are concerned about the issue of substance abuse in Putnam County. PoP seeks to unite the community in the development and implementation of strategies to prevent and lessen the progression of substance abuse (i.e., tobacco use, underage drinking, stimulant use, marajuana, etc.). We seek to support the efforts of other community agencies and fill the gap in services to address the problem. Those who wish to volunteer and contribute their time to our mission can sign up by going to powerofputnam.org, selecting the drop down menu “get involved” and then “join us”. The page will allow those looking to join the coalition to input their personal information which will come directly to the staff here at Power of Putnam.
