Youth Coalition:

In addition to implementing strategies to reduce youth’s access to drugs and alcohol and educating community members in the best ways to prevent their use, Power of Putnam is involved in a campaign to enlist students as leaders in the movement to prevent the damaging effects of alcohol and drug use as well as other destructive decisions. Our youth coalition is composed of students who are passionate about inspiring change in our community, educating their peers, and prevention in Putnam County. Thrive ambassadors can campaign for legislation change, advocate for a drug-free community, and plan events to align with Power of Putnam’s mission. We have recently done prevention campaigns like Christmas caroling for prevention, Red Ribbon week, and more!
