Uniting for a Drug-Free Community
POP is a coalition that brings together community members concerned about the issue of substance abuse to work together in the development of strategies and in finding ways of implementing those strategies into the community. We help support other programs and other efforts and try to find ways within the already existing community agencies to fill gaps in services. It is our hope that all members of the community who have a concern about this will become a part of this effort. POP is a member of the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America and the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions across Tennessee. The primary support for the current activities of POP is a prevention grant that came through those organizations.

Vision:
A community that is united and empowered in its efforts to support the development of emotionally, socially, and economically health individuals and families.

Mission:
To partner with the diverse elements of Putnam County in a united effort to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build character and resiliency in its children and youth.
